Job Description:
• Take customers through a thorough buying process supported by established selling steps and procedures
• Develop and relay a high level of product knowledge around vehicle features
• Enhance the sales process by demonstrating the vehicles features and conducting a test drive
• Transfer ownership of vehicle utilizing an established delivery process which insures the customer understands the vehicles operating features and warranty
• Maintain owner follow-up system that encourages repeat and referral business and contributes to customer satisfaction, loyalty and long term clientele
• Assist management in ensuring the lot is merchandised correctly to maximize sales
• Proactively prospect for customer leads
• Learn to overcome objections, close sales, and perform all other steps of the sales process in accordance with company standards
Requirements:
• Enthusiastic with high energy throughout the sales workday
• Career minded, goal driven and client focused- EAGER TO LEARN AND GROW
• Self-motivated and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Outgoing and friendly personality, especially while handling objections
• Strong interpersonal and communications skills one-on-one and over the phone
• Persuasive and able to overcome customer objections during the sales process
• Professional appearance, strong negotiation and presentation skills
• Persistent, competitive and good work ethic
• Driver’s license and good driving record required
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
Qualifications:
• 1+ years’ experience in automotive dealership
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Administrative support and/or telephone experience
• Sales or other customer support background preferred
• Effective communication skills a must
• Ability to coordinate and complete multiple tasks simultaneously
• High School Graduate or equivalent
• Must be at least 18-years-old
• Pass a criminal background check and drug screen
